What a difference a year makes

This time last year I was in the midst of chemo for stage 4 ovarian cancer. A year later I feel great, the cancer, although incurable, is stable at the moment. I've got 2 more Avastin treatments completing 18 altogether.

My consultant and I were expecting me to be back on chemo by now, but he's happy with things at the moment. Next CT scan not until February.

Last Christmas I was absolutely terrified at what lay ahead, but now I feel a lot more positive. I know, that along with many others, I face an uncertain future, but I'm taking each day as it comes and looking forward to Christmas with my family.

Merry Christmas everyone.
