only 4 hrs at hosp today so that’s a bit better. Oncologist said I don’t need t keep away from grandchildren- yeahhh- good times ( nd my watch will b happy to lol)
gave me some new cream t put on too - flaminal hydro - said actually doesn’t think I’ll need but may as well take it. Said will continue t cook for 7-10 days but can still experience problems 6 wks later. Covered lots of other things like meds - I was told would b taking letrozole for 5 yrs but she said they r reviewing guidelines and they r looking to prescribe for 10 yrs.
essentially it was my discharge meeting (I still have 2 more RT sessions t have though)
Wow they were quick to discharge! I had to wait 6 weeks from last treatment to see oncologist. At least you are more aware now and equipped with cream.

Thanks- still early days. They are waiting for me to provide some more info and hiring mngr wants to speak with CEO who is back in next week. But at least I've had feedback unlike the other place. Despite chasing up for feedback - nada.

One of the things they said at my meeting today is it’s a while before I see my surgeon again but if I notice any changes in my breast to contact my breast care nurse and if needed she would organise an appointment for me.
Wonder if you should give yrs a call at the very least she will reassure you.
of course we r sensitive t any changes we have guess it is power for the course now.
I got both my daughters driving lessons for their 17 th birthdays 1 st daughter passed straight away. Younger daughter was ready for test but failed her theory so I pd again - she failed. Told her I would pay for one more but she must study for it ( she didn’t before)... she failed again so... no pass no more lessons. When she was 21 she came t me nd said I’ve booked my theory, 1 lesson nd my test ( she paid) she passed both ( with just 1 lesson)- guess she wasn’t ready first time lol. Oh nd 1 st daughter who did pass at 17 she didn’t drive again till she was 21 cos she was at uni - but when she finished she bought a car and was straight out in it lol. Great thing to have - freedom of the road - wishing yr daughter good luck x

Cousin is doing really well although she has to have a growth removed from her kidney in January, she starts rt a week on Monday for the breast cancer.
My daughter passed her driving test on the fifth attempt! Son managed on third and promptly got caught for speeding and two parking tickets!
Well I started my week ok - am now laid up in bed with raging fever and aches like I've not experienced before. To add to that lymphnodes in armpit are really swollen. Even my feet ache - how weird is that? Throat bit better - used my remedy of black coffee, brandy & honey. Onwards....

Doing Ok. Shipping first xmas presents out today so been to pick a cake up, slightly disappointed as she’s done it for xmas and not a winter thing as I asked but too late to do anything now. As you say, on wards and up wards! Take care of yourself, it’s cold out there so a bit of cosseting is definitely in order!

Only 1 more session on Monday then done. Feel fine noticed on my boob it has a bit of a tanned look- subtle but def there.

Glad yr cousin is doing so well Rileyroo long may it last. Bet yr washer has never been off since yesterday lol. Like u say it’s not till something stops working u realise how important it is.
