A "me" day is a definite requirement! What are you going to have done (nails)? I gave up on mine after I peeled the shellac off. They're a mess but getting better by rubbing coconut oil every day.

Tea sounds like a nice way to spend an afternoon. 

Hubby has throat infection  - he's been home all week and exhausted me. Why are they such big babies? Let's hope I don't catch it - am finally starting to feel a bit better.

Might bake a cake tomorrow - let's see what tomorrow holds.

Not sure what I’m going to do nail wise, see if she has any suggestions. Probably ought to be practical about it with planning to think about work again. 

I think men are babies with things like colds because, like their mum’s before us, we let them! But throat infection is definitely a bit more than a cold. 

God daughter is coming for the weekend so might bake if I can kick the dog out of the way for long enough, not to mention daughter. She hangs around like a fart in a lift until she gets the bowl to clean out.

just back now ( have been t pub for food).

what a chew today has been. Told them 1 st session I had a bone scan today ( so they changed my RT time to accommodate the scan)

told them yesterday don’t forget I have scan after RT ( they put a note against my name nd told to mention to reception when arriving next day) got there today told reception ( said was ok cos there was a note on the system)

they were running 20 mins late then 50 then 90. My RT and scan time came nd went. Then they called me in - I said - i mentioned yesterday I had a scan the appt time has passed so what’s the crack now. Said I should have told reception- I did. Had t wait a min - could hear them mumbling door opened told me to get into my gown - they were ringing the scan people. Door opened ( I’m in my gown) told put clothes back on get t scan dpt they will fit me in but they close at 4 ( it was now 15:50). Turns out the dpt I need is so far away from where I am there are no signs. Ask someone for directions they confirm it’s the other side of the hosp. I start t run in general direction. Signs begin t appear for the dpt I need. Get t disk 2 mins t 4. I breathlessly say my name. They r expecting me... phew. Lass stays behind t do scan bless. My watch buzzes it’s happy nd congratulates me on a 13 min workout lol. 

Then the treck back t RT. Wait again undress... again then finally 2 hrs 30mins late I get my treatment.  Like I say a bit of a chew tday lol

Chaos and not the organised variety! But only two more to go?!

Wow am exhausted just reading That! At least the scan got done and a workout! That's a plus to the day!

Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Not long to go now.

Sadly it’s 3 lol. Monday is my last one cos was closed 1 day for maintenance. 

Tomorrow I have a review appt after RT let’s see how that goes. 

I was in such a rush t get ready and just leave that I forgot t pic up my cream so left it there.... sigh. Oh well the Aveeno cream will have t do. X

Aveeno is good stuff! They sound really organised, not. 

Fingers crossed they do better tomorrow. 

Morning ladies 

was in bed by 10:00 last night. Well that particular 7 hrs yesterday was a tad tiring lol. 

Fingers crossed that although I have a 2 nd appt again today it goes better than yesterday lol. 

Met 2 ladies attending their 1 st appt nd 2 having their last. The cycle of day to day living has changed hasn’t it!

great t say the 2 ladies on last day of treatment both said they have been fine with no problems at all. Hopefully if things continue for my remaining 3 sessions I’ll b able t say the same - fingers crossed.

Good luck! I’m getting nails done this pm, washing machine people have arranged to come this morning, cancellation, apparently and then meeting cousins for tea,  one of these has breast cancer and the prognosis isn’t good but she still goes for it!
