Next challenge will be getting there for it, some scumbag rear ended my car in the early hours of this morning and because it was an old car, it's being written off. Grrrr

Well ladies, might have spoken too soon about side effects. Felt but couldn’t see a rash under the offending object yesterday, now looks like heat rash so... sudocrem duely applied and put a crop top on instead of bra. It’s not itchy or flaky which I suppose is good but could still go that way which is bad. I’ll hope for good!
Bless side effect of the meds. Wonder if doing what Rileyroo did ( splitting the dosage) would help.
Forgot t mention my daughter reminded me that When she moved back here she joined an agency nd they got her the interview for the permanent job she got - the place of work payed the agency the finders fee not her. Just another option u might want t consider ( or not lol) will save u looking:-)
enjoy ellen :-) x
I wondered if it might b heat rash ( just cos of where it was). Small patch middle of my boobs was itchy a bit a couple of days ago I thought heat rash so I washed cream off in case the greasy skin was adding to it - did the trick cos was better by next morning. Mind u never thought of sudocrem - def a good move. Hope yrs clears as quick as mine :-) x
Splitting the dose definitely helped, don’t think I could have carried on with taking it as it was. I still have my moments but they’re not as frequent (all day every day) or bad as they were. Might be worth an ask, might depend on your dose as well I suppose.
Think the dose is 20 mg for all? I'll see how it goes - been ok up until a month or so ago (started on it in Feb of this year).
I'll see how it goes. Already with 3 agencies I use regularly and joined 2 more. Maybe it's not the right time yet....
I use sudocrem for Everything! Best thing ever. It's a tough road after treatment - certainly wa for me. Hopefully you guys won't have any skin issues. This is such an unfair bas***d of a disease - treatable or not it is sh**.
Agreed. Apparently the dose used to be 10mg twice a day and not as seems to be the current practice, 20mg once a day according to the consultant I saw, Registrar wasn't happy but who cares?
Evening lasses
Is everyone ok?
9/15 RT done today nd happy t say all still well.
Because of the flu vac issue I won’t be seeing the little ones for a bit or the family.... sad times. Might get to see the oncologist next Friday if I do I’ll ask her advice cos other granddaughter will b getting her vac soon too.
Had word from my friend who finished her RT last wk nd her skin has reacted and is blistered and peeling bless.
Hope u r all well enjoy the weekend x
Noticed the nurses had replied, best be safe I guess.
As per JBains, recommend Sudocrem, taken the redness and rash right down. Your friend might find it useful
depending on what her hospital has said about creams.
Managed to drive to York this afternoon, wasn’t there long, but got what I went for. See what the fall out from that is tomorrow altho I have to admit I went back to bed this morning for a couple of hours this morning so hopefully that will tide me over.
60% done of rt! A life without daily hospital appointments beckons!
Excuse the typos - vision is very blurred but you guys must be used to me and know what i mean!
