Well ladies no mammo today - they want to wait until feb. Saw nurse who told me I need a holiday. Did you guys know you can be recommended for a grant of up to £500 towards a holiday from Macmillan? I said no as I feel too guilty. Someone in a worse scenario will need it more. Surgeon examined wound and where I get the scabbing is cells accumulating and healing. Still told to take it easy and that I'm doing the right things (I.e. exercise/diet/rest). My healing is taking time so told to not stress myself over finding a job. Easy for them to say. Am tired now as its cold and quite the trek going to hospital.

Yeh I think your cancer nurse has to recommend you and you go thru validation criteria to see if you're eligible.
We talked through alot of how I was feeling and held it together without crying. Quite proud of myself!
