Next challenge will be getting there for it, some scumbag rear ended my car in the early hours of this morning and because it was an old car, it's being written off. Grrrr

Eee 50 days... yes lol.
Of course she wants a calendar who wouldn’t lol.
Well compared t what u were going through last year this year will undoubtedly be better bless.
I used t put my tree up 12 days before Xmas nd take down 12 days after but I was always last t put up nd the only one with one up after lol. Now put up 1 st December nd take down between Xmas nd new year. 2 yrs ago bought a potted Xmas tree (loved it) it lifted out of garden last yr again t b used ( had even grown) but alas the last couple of months it has shed its needles nd I have t admit it’s not gonna cut it this yr! Trying t decide if should get another real or artificial. Sad times lol x
It’s weird how we can do ritual things each yr like group panto nd then it just stops nd no one ever seems t know why... bizarre ain’t it. Reckon yr daughter will love going though - did I mention daughters are brill:-)
Does your work place have a “do” for Xmas.
Jbains do u keep in touch with any of yr ex colleagues - ive got 3 meals booked with people I’ve worked with on different teams over the years lol. Love t hear what’s gone on nd yes their grumbles too lol x
There is an office meal but I’m not going. A couple of the staff were pretty unhelpful when we were trying to work out ways of getting me in to work with minimum physical effort on my part. They have parking permits for car parks close by altho they don’t need them every day and they refused to let me borrow one for a couple of weeks. Office politics, not getting involved.
Going out with my friends the week before Xmas and York on 22 December to the museum gardens, they’re
decked out and supposed to look pretty good.
Heading for York next weekend incidently, get god daughter’s xmas pressie, might solve daughters as well while I’m there. She wants a leather rucksack and we are very fond of the Zatchel shop down the Shambles.
Yes this year is going to be a busy one. Let's hope we all are doing well and enjoy it. Definitely winter wonderland in central London and the shops.
Yes do still keep in touch with ex-colleagues and they've all been great this past year
I meet up with them often and some of us had moved on elsewhere so we meet for drinks after couple of months. We're meeting up beginning dec.
Enjoy what s there is what I say.
Well Rileyroo what goes around comes around so they will get what’s coming t them.
So.. in short we all have something t look forward to- good times. Let’s embrace every good thing that comes our way eh lasses.
x
So true what you say Sandra. Don't sweat it rileyroo. I've learned a lot about people this past year. Keep your heart and mind filled with love and kindness for those around you as karma will get them. The pleasure is being there to watch karma - heh heh heh!!
On another note - just finished watching Grease on telly. Never tire of that film. Poor Olivia Newton-john had breast cancer in 1992 and has been clear until this year - it has metastasized in her spine. She was stage 4 the first time but she's finding holistic therapies to help her live a good life as she can. Never give up is her strength and good on her.
Got my smear test tomorrow then mammogram on tues. Think I'll buy a large bottle of sthg to get thru next couple of days! Feeling quite optimistic about it all.
I got my coat in the end. A nice casual one from Hollister. Trendy 50 year old!
Good for you, can’t get my right arm in Holister! Wrong body shape, too old! Don’t have smears any more since it was all taken away! Got to love a plus point.
