Next challenge will be getting there for it, some scumbag rear ended my car in the early hours of this morning and because it was an old car, it's being written off. Grrrr
Rileyroo be kind to yourself and take a few weeks off as you have been through a lot. Your recovery in the next few weeks is the most important. You deserve to only think of you and there's no point in going back to work too quickly then feeling so ill that you'll have longer off. Not everyone reacts the same way so your employers need to understand that. Put yourself first.
Thank you for getting back to me - just have to try and be patient and accept that things will get better. It's just the unknown that's so disconcerting.
Yes the unknown is the norm in this whole process which makes it harder. Be patient, kind to yourself and go with the flow. Dont expect too much and put yourself first. It I'd hard no doubt about it but we got this!

We all rock - every single one of us battling any type of cancer. The scars remain - both physical and emotional. I truly think we go through curveballs life throws at us so that we can help others going through it. Cancer was lonely to begin with but those on this forum help in ways that I certainly couldn't fully put into words.
Also booked myself in for a pampering session, unfortunately no vacancies til January but I'm down for any cancellations. Get a large goody bag as well apprently! Well, why not? Think any one who goes thro this deserves a treat or two.
