I was diagnosed with Sarcoma of the chest wall in late February 2016.  This was after a needle biopsy and a surgerical biopsy.

I had major surgery on March 23, 2017 I was in surgery for 7 hours in which they took out 4 ribs and had a mastectomy on my right side.  I was in the hospital 9 days.  I was sent home with three tubes.  Home health came in once a week for about 6 weeks.

they was suppose to fill the hole with my stomach fat but after getting in there the doctor who did the surgery biopsy compromized

the area and they had to remove more than they thought so I did not have enough belly fat so they cut me from the middle of my

two breast to my spine in the back went in and got as muscle in my back and pulled it around under my arm pit under where my

breast was and put it in the hole.  A year and a half later that muscle pulls so much I can hardly stand it.  When I sleep or try to that muscle jerks all night.  Some days I just dont want to get out of bed.

Has anyone had this same cancer surgery?

I have tried all the oils they make none work the only thing that works is muscle relaxers, pain pills and nerve pills I also take a radiation pill for five years and the effect of that is terrible.

    Hi there,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer, the first 7 years ago and the second 6 years ago. The first time I had a lumpectomy followed by Tamoxifen. The second I had a double mastectomy followed by Letrozole.

I had bother with the original breast, as I was left with scars on scars. My breast area looked very strange and tight, but I had myofascial release on the scarring and this made a huge difference. I also had a cholecystectomy a few years before this. At the time I stopped breathing on the operating table and had to wait a further 2 weeks before they relieved me of my gall bladder and appendix. This left me with keloid scarring and although I had that 13 years before my cancer, I was given myofascial release on that too. This worked a treat in both areas and I no longer have the tautness in the tissues that I had before. I also tried Class 3 Laser about the same time as this, so I'm not fully sure which treatment did most for me.

The oils didn't work for me. They did however take the dye out of a towel I had been using and stain my new leather suite, which was fortunately still under guarantee!

I would recommend that you try either of these treatments I think that the myofascial release was the more effective.

Please keep in touch. We are always here for you whenever you feel like talking.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
