The good and the bad

Hi peeps

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking the excellent advice on this website I pretty much started by taking it one day at a time. This does indeed help.

I thought to share the good and the bad and would love to hear anyone else's should they wish to share.

Today I had both a good and a bad moment. I received 2 letters in the post.

The first was from the hosp confirming my op date (my bad moment) cos my stomach dropped and I had that now familiar feeling of anxiousness take hold for a moment but shook it off cos I know it is needed.

The good - my 2nd letter - as if... a tax rebate - boom  . Not half put a much needed smile on my face . Reckon a my treat family meal is in order.

Eeee it's the little things ain't it.

Take care peeps

  • Hi chrissie,

Yeh everyone seems to have dropped off the radar. Including me. Lifes hectic. Got hospital appointments coming out my ears. MRI scans, ultrasounds, oncologist and got colonoscopy on sunday to see what's going on with my rubbish bowels. All that and a newborn I'm busy busy. Vinnie is lovely though and keeps me sane. He was 2 months old yesterday. Where has 2 months gone? Anyhow hope you and everyone other person reading this is ok. Thinking of you all xx

    Hi Dizzle,

What a little charmer. How you are coping with this little one and, all that you are going through beggars belief.

I hope that all goes well for both of you. You've got the best incentive in the world to beat this!

    Kind regards,

    Hi Billy,

    Hi Billy,

What a worry for you. I'm glad that it didn't turn out to be as bad as expected and that there was no harm done by the chemo tablets.

    Regards,

    Jolamine xx
