Hello Everyone

Just a quick update to those kind people who wished my husband well. Surgery took six hours but he was then in recovery for a further five hours. I rang to see what was happening a few times but nobody could tell me. Finally recovery rang me at five o’clock (because he insisted) to say his blood pressure was low and he would be going to HDU instead of the surgical ward as planned. Two phone calls and two and half hours later I was told he was going back to the surgical ward as originally planned. I left him to go into theatre at 9 am and I finally saw him again at 8pm! A very tough day as I’m sure many of you know. Far tougher that the two lots of surgery I had last year. He’s ok, still sleepy from anaesthetic but had to have open surgery rather than keyhole although we don’t know why. Hopefully we’ll find out more tomorrow. Very tired.....

Aw.... lovely pic. Enjoy every min... I loved our trip on the Nile ️ So much to see at every stop annnd watching the  everyday life as you sail by.... bliss ️ X

Just read update from your husbands op..... so glad it’s at least done and can concentrate on getting well now. Hoping for a speedy trouble free recovery .

bad :- none yay.

good :- reprieve from child care.... till Tuesday at least. That being said still lots of family time planned over the Easter starting with all out for family breakfast this morning... yum. 

Chrissy.... make sure you don’t say no Easter eggs from your family ..... if I remember correctly last yr they listened and got u none....let’s not chance that this yr eh ;-)

Used the  last of the sticks yesterday for our last craft of the holidays....... it’s spot on with the message.... wishing everyone has as good an Easter as they can ️ X

Seriously I’m so glad this part is done. It is  so much more stressful when it’s someone you love than when it’s yourself.

Totally agree we feel so helpless being unable to make things right.... time is often what it takes but time can often seem to drag. Hope all is well for you today x

good :-) what fabulous weather and..... on a bank holiday.... good times :-)

shops done, outside Easter tree with lil ones ... done .... cake for afternoon tea ... done. Tea will b post egg hunt in the lil ones garden tomorrow :-)

now in garden on recliner chair, table parasol up, kindle at the ready sipping wine. I am wearing the biggest hat since the one Hos wore in Bonanza ( if anyone remember s him nd his hat lol).
