Hi peeps

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking the excellent advice on this website I pretty much started by taking it one day at a time. This does indeed help. 

I thought to share the good and the bad and would love to hear anyone else's should they wish to share.

Today I had both a good and a bad moment. I received 2 letters in the post.

The first was from the hosp confirming my op date (my bad moment) cos my stomach dropped and I had that now familiar feeling of anxiousness take hold for a moment but shook it off cos I know it is needed. 

The good - my 2nd letter - as if... a tax rebate - boom  . Not half put a much needed smile on my face . Reckon a my treat family meal is in order.

Eeee it's the little things ain't it.

    Hope u enjoyed yr Xmas meal sound a lovely get together. My cold seems to b dissipating.... still got couch but other than that.... yay? Lol.

    bad :- shops were heaving today. The sales assistant at Clarke’s had a snotty attitude ( we were the only ones in and... I was only picking up cos had ordered online...all she had t do is hand over sheesh.

    good :- all Xmas wrapping is done ( am I the only one who absolutely hates wrapping ) lol. Got rest of groceries for Xmas day nd Boxing Day so can chillax ... Xmas is bought so just waiting for the big day :-)

    hope everyone has had as good a day as they could.

    Yep that is the biopsy on second tumour done and dusted. 

    Feeling a little sore and tender but hey ho. I am now free until 15th Jan.

    Just have to get my mum out of hospital now.

    Excellent.... oh lass u enjoy the break nd family time :-)

    i had 2 lumps in my boob.... having 2 didn’t change the treatment plan or the outcome objective. 

    Just think every day you take the medication u are blocking what it feeds on.... keep it up lass u r doing great x

    bad : rained on walk t school .... again!

    good : gonna decorate Xmas cake, hoover dust nd clean windows then... done till Xmas ha ha ... if it drops it stops methodology ;-)

    goid:- lovely day day on Santa train nd family meal...delish. Walk down woods with lil ones soon to collect fresh greenery for the Xmas table ( know the perfect huge holly tree with copious amounts of beautiful red berries :-)

    seems to have gone quite on here so gonna say - have a wonderful Christmas. Hold close those you love and try to find some good in your day.

    Good

    Family here for Christmas, lunch and clearing up done for me by lovely offspring.

    Bad

    Husband told on Friday  that he needs surgery and a stoma bag in the new year for his ulcerative colitis. Like cornnishpastie, 2018 still had some nasty surprises before it’s end.

    Hope everyone can find something good in their festive season. I wish everyone a kinder 2019

    Merry Christmas everyone!!

    Sorry to read you've had bad news sundial. Life is continually unfair to good people and there are horrible evil people walking the streets all healthy without a carbon the world. Really angers me!!

    Got my results appointment letter through for the 8th. Wanted it all done and dusted before Xmas but will just have to wait. Still gonna call tomorrow though as I have radiotherapy and oncology appointment that day too so will need changing. If it's nothing I'd rather just be told over the phone than waiting round for nothing.

    Xmas eve tomorrow. I'm like a child lol. Love Christmas. If I don't get a  chance to post before I hope all you lovely ladies have an extra special Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. We all deserve it xx
