Morning ladies. Hope you're all doing ok. Thanks for responses re flu jab. Made my appt.

The good - got day off.

The bad - full of cold. Blimey - cold weather hasn't even begun! Here's hoping I won't catch another one again. I had flu twice last winter season and 3 colds. Commuter germs on the train is what I blame. Someone at work had a cold a couple of weeks ago. Never even used to catch a cold at All, only few sniffles here and there before I had treatment. I'm taking supplements as well due to bone and joint damage and exercising. Can't win! Maybe I'll eat loads of junk and sit on sofa - might help??!

Sorry to moan but I just wish sometimes a week or two would go by where I just feel well. I feel good inside myself- silly body doesn't cooperate! Need a new one. Knew I should've married a plastic surgeon......

I checked and was told I wasn’t in the group they consider to need it. 

That's really surprising. My GP pushes me due to having had cancer. I think I need to have words with your nhs services where you are rileyroo.

Perhaps check NICE guidelines? 

I'll ask nurse - am on my way to get blood test done. It's a chore as well - my veins in arms are too thin/narrow.

I cannot believe how the services and care differ so vastly. Cancer is cancer no matter what stage esp if you've had treatment with respect to certain services. Think I'd have been in the same boat as you rileyroo had I stayed with local services. The trip to London is definitely worth it methinks.

Feel free. They need a kick up the proverbial in this area. 

Hi peeps .. just wondered if you get a spare bit of time .. theres a lass user name Smithamilton,  whos mum has finished chemo and radiotherapy... but her mum gets tired easy, and she wanted to know if thats normal .. quite a long name for the thread, but it says something like advice on after effects chemo and radio ... its my age lol ... thanks ... and hope your all doing well ... last time i looked, sandra was missing little ones, hope they are safly back with nanny now .. and hope your doing better now jbains ...

sorry chris couldn’t find the post did a search then tried trawling back but no luck Lots of post on after effects chemo which I’m sure she’d find really useful. Although I don’t have experience of chemo would have happily posted.

Well this is what is euphemistically called a day off! So, washing done, check, one load dried, check. Doggie do cleaned up, check. New plants put in, check, dog shouted at to stop dog digging up new plants, check. 

Side door of garage sealed and lunch eaten. Gonna take stupid out shortly, weather forecast ain’t great for later! 

Lol and yet....still better than work a bet ;-)
