Hi Gleeson,
Welcome to cancer chat.
I am so sorry to hear that you are having side-effects from chemo. The four effects that you mention are all pretty normal. Tiredness, lack of energy and nausea seem to go hand in glove with chemo. Crying seems normal after a diagnosis, as do change of emotions, anger and a whole raft of other feelings.
Don't try and stop your tears. Having a good cry acts as a release valve. You are now over half way through your chemo, so try to stick it out if you can. Have you mentioned these side-effects to your care team? They should certainly be able to give you something to deal with the nausea.
Please keep in touch and let us know how things are going. There is always someone here whenever you feel like talking.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Gleeson,
I just finished 6 rounds of hard core chemotherapy in July. Chemotherapy is cumulative,I made it through the first 5 rounds without to many side effects but upon completion I started to feel extremely tired and nausea kicked in a little bit too and severe muscle and joint pain were very bothersome and still are but not as bad now.it will get better.
