Hi. Has anyone had radiotherapy to the abdomen which has left dreadful symptoms of cystitis and virtual urinary incontinence? I only finished a week ago after 25 sessions but it is certainly not what I expected. Will they go away in time?
Hi, I'm sorry you are suffering. We have just today had scan for imminent radiotherapy but to the lungs. Nurses on this site can help and if you are female can I suggest slathering on vaseline, this helps the cystitis from travelling back up the uretha, I have used this method for persistent cystitis and it works. Hopefully someone can give you better medical advice. Take care, Carol
