Family just left after hectic two days! Seaton Carew beach as my old stomping ground. Daughter and I feel like we have had a spa sand blast day, it certainly brought the colour back to my hospital Palor. We decide to leave the patient at home so we don't give him pneumonia from the north sea winds. Thinks that's best he sys as he will only stop us having fun. No we chorus as one we would love it if you could be with us but leave him in charge of the beef instead! Paddling, fun fair, and money spent on the two penny tipping machines, even the four year old got hooked, what naughty grandparents she has. Drive home, hubby feet up had lovely relaxing afternoon, good, cos that is over now! Today we have a small lie in, breakfast and a nature walk, hubby off to James Cook for refit on prosthetic leg, but cancer alters everything so it's delayed further until his treatments end in September, these months are flying past, I thought with the treatments it would drag but I have been proved wrong, hopefully the radiotherapy will buzz past quickly too and by November we may be able to leave our abode and visit our family. I am exhausted but content. See you tomorrow.
