Kidney cancer

Hi, I had surgery six weeks ago to remove a growth and surrounding tissue on my kidney. I am still in a lot of pain and not due to see surgeon for another two weeks. I have quite a large scar on my right side which looks to be quite swollen and feels very tight also have trouble getting comfortable at night. Anyone else had these problems please?

    I'm sorry to read that you're in pain the moment.

    I noticed you'd not had a reply yet so I wanted to stop by to 'bump' your post. There may well be someone who's recently undergone surgery here who will be along soon to share their experiences. In the meantime, I've found some information on the website about recovering from surgery, which might be of interest.
