Update of recent CT scan

Well just an update of mid way CT scan.....shows disease progression and so EOX now stopped. But on Tuesday he's starting on a new chemo regime, which to be honest sounds so much better esp hardly side effects and less hospital time and NO tablets. Will keep u updated

    You must both be disappointed at the disease progression, but I am glad to hear that the new chemo regime sounds much kinder all round.

    Here's hoping for better news at the next CT scan.

    Hi thanks for your reply. We was distraught at the recent scan results especially after we've had such convincing signs/results  that everything was going well!!! Well BOOM it wasn't!!! But on the positive side, he's had his first "shot" of the new chemo today and come away being able eat and drink and watch telly!!! Usually a full day of EOX (last regime) and he's knackered and fit for bed,,,,, so overall on rhe first day.....: I'd say things are good x

    Hi Gemini, 

    This is what they call the cancer rollercoaster. One minute you're up beat and the next you're down in the dumps.

    I'm glad to hear that the new chemo is still proving kinder than the last and hope that it proves more effective too.
