Yes money worries wont help your health .im fortunate that my mortgage is finished .but got no idea how long ill b off work as im 60 govm wouldnt let me retire till 66 now body wont let me work .i do get sick pay from work but that wont last long .i just feel in limbo had cancel a holiday .cant make any plans .nurse said its a long road .great .good luck
no money worries won't help my health but if I go early oct hopefully we will be alright as we have 2 children 1 boy who is 20 who is working and has his own money and 1 girl of 15 who is expensive :D, we managed to get school shoes for her but she is going back in old uniform but then it is her last year in uniform.
As mum used to say it will all come out in the wash :) love her phase she used.
i was in for 3 nights, the 3rd night because my temperature was high.
I just had a epidural and fluids, I had a liquid form of anti sickness and tablet form as well once, but they were given I was fine, I was in Day cancer unit during the day and on a ward at nighttime.
I didn't feel a thing when having brachytherapy as I haven a epidural in till I got the rods out as the rods were on the whole 2 1/2 days.
Have got anymore treatment or have had all the brachytherapy ?
i am fine except for constipation which my doctor has put me on 3 laxatives a day as I have bad haemorrhoids and I have to a blood test on the 19/9 the surgery couldn't get me in any quicker and I might have to see a surgeon but I hope not, don't feel anymore hospital visits just yet haha
So you had one dose of brachy over 3 days? I'm having 3 doses for a day each, once a week from now.
You were flat out for 3 days, a good rest or frustrating as hell? I thought I'd be going nuts flat out for several hours but slept most of it.
My bowel has protested via diarrhoea which I take cocodamol for and stop when I get constipated. My last treatment is 20/9 but I guess side affects rumble on for a while...
How is your husband? I know you were worried about him while you were in hospital.

i had 3 brachytherapy over 3 days. It was alright the girls in day unit and family kept me entertained,
oh dear to the diarrhoea, wish mine was like that haha
other was fine all that worry for nothing :)
i had some sleep with loo break, but that is my life anyway before I had treatment, suppose you could call it Carers life haha I am a carer in a are home for Alzheimer's and dementia plus we have other illness too.
