Cant eat

Hi all in February I had three quarters of my bowel removed was so worried about suviving the opp I couldn't see anything past the opp but the opp was fine cancer a lot bigger than they thought it had grown round my my fallopian tube so they took that toso for me its definitely the recovery thats been harder than  I imagined and  now on my 3rd round of chemotherapy which was is oral the first two was ok but this one I cant eat cant keep anything down I can just about managed a tin of soup every couple of days I  am so tired have sore hands and feet and mouth can anyone suggest anything for me to eat that I can manage please thanks for letting me sound off xxx

    did they not give ensure drinks to have . When I had throat cancer that's all I could get down at first , then I moved to porridge. Keep trying mate

    Hi Justwendy, so sorry to hear you are having such horrible symptoms after you thought you would be oK. You can get Ensure Plus on prescription, and until then can buy it--lots of lovely flavours and it is as good as a meal. Your team should be on to this as they will not want you to lose weight, so please ask. They should have given you a phone number to use between visits. Failing that your GP should be able to help. You should have something for vomiting and the sore mouth also.

    i hope you get something sorted quickly.

    I am a Dukes stage B awaiting an appt for chemo, but I had breast ca 8 years ago with chemo and XRT. They gave me stuff for nausea which worked very well.
