Chickenpox

i am about ten weeks post chemo and radiotherapy.  My granddaughter has just contracted chickenpox. Iv had these myself many years ago and also shingles about eight years ago. Can anyone tell me if its ok for me to be in contact with my granddaughter. Thankyou

    If you're not able to contact your GP or medical team to find out about this do give our cancer nurses a call as they may be able to answer your question. Their freephone number is 0808 800 4040, and you can chat to them between 9a.m - 5p.m, Monday - Friday.

    Hi, my daughter got chicken pox this week, 9 days after my first chemo. I had blood tests to check I already had the antibodies which I do, and (touch wood) am fine good luck !
