Hi.
I'm a little bit concerned. On the 7th of February my partner was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Thankfully, once it had been diagnosed, his operation to remove the testicle was only a week later (14th Feb.) He then had a CT scan later on that week (17th Feb) & since that day we have heard nothing back. We went away for a couple of weeks to relax and for him to recover and heal in a peaceful and relaxing environment. My partners father came to the house regularly to check for any letters from the hospital as we were expecting to have to go back for the results of his scan. Nothing came. Then a few days ago, a completely different hospital (although we know this hospital is doing the biopsy of the testicle) phoned my partner to explain he had missed two appointments. We were gobsmacked as we had received no letter, no email, nothing. He explained that and they told him they would sort out a new letter & it arrived today. He's got to go to the hospital that did his biopsy (not his op) & he's seeing a specialist oncologist. Does this mean it's bad news? Does this mean the cancer has spread? It's been going on for so long now, when all we've wanted is answers that I'm worrying myself. I pray that it hasn't spread. If anyone whose been in a similar situation could perhaps explain it a bit more for me, that would be fab. Thank you all for your patience in reading my what could be assumed as a bit of a rant.
