Lymphoma

Hi guys. I am new here. My name is Andris. Been diagnosed with lymphoma last year in October. 2 weeks  ago had my last 6 chemo I hope. Was trying to be positive all this time. As all my family is far away and it's hard to cope with. Just would like to talk and exchange experience. Thanks

  • Hello Andris, welcome to Cancer Chat.

I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with lymphoma, and that you've not had family close-by during what must be an incredibly tough time. You've come to the right place to talk to others who are going through similar experiences. Hopefully one of our friendly members will be along soon. In the meantime, if you'd like to take a look around the forum and join in any other discussions, you're very welcome to.

I also just wanted to mention that we have a team of cancer nurses who are just on the other end of the line if you'd like to call to talk to someone. You can reach them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Let us know how you're getting on,

    Best wishes,

    Helen

  • Hi, I noticed your post was in March but thought I'd reply anyhow. I was diagnosed with sinus cancer a few weeks ago and two days ago I was told it is Plasmablastic Lymphoma. I have been told I will need a heavy dose of DA-EPOCH chemo to start with. That will be in a couple of weeks so feeling a bit jittery.
