Hi everyone, I had my mask fitted yesterday for my Radiotherapy treatment. I also signed my consent form and my Doctor went through all my 'possible' side effects. I've read a lot of information prior to my appointment so I had an idea of what he was going to say. I was a bit shocked though when he mentioned that my hearing 'could' be affected! :(

My cancer is a rare Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the right submandibular gland which travels along the nerves. 

I just wanted to know if anyone has or is having radiotherapy and have had any effects of this as it's scared me a bit.
