Hi,
Really sorry to hear that, it must clearly be a bit of a shock, it is probably no help whatsoever, but I also had surgery for lung cancer 18 months ago. One Consultant told me to get on with my life it won't come back, another told me, we don't know if or when it will return, and other information told me that following lung cancer, only one in three make it for up to five years.
So, where we go from here I really don't know, but please don't give up hope, miricules do happen, and as proven in my case, opinions vary greatly, even with Cancer Consultants.
I hope in your case, they are wrong, they really can be, after all they are human, just like us.
All the very best,
David.
God bless you, keep your immune system strong, I'm always here to talk to x
Hi Janebu,
Really nice of you to reply, a lovely surprise, and thank you so much for your kind comments.
I do hope that you are well at the moment and living life as well as you are able, do you find one day is better than others ?,
This Cancer game is relevantly new to me, I was also diagnosed with Parkinsons around two years ago, put the two together, and at times, life is a struggle.
Life for me at this moment iis exeptionaly tough, but I realise only too well that others are having a far worse time than me, I do feel deeply for you all, and wish you all the very best and the strength and ability to keep going no matter what.
Life is very short and we only have one shot at it
What do you do all day, I find I have to keep going doing something, nighttime and early mornings are touthger than the day. I go to bed around ten o'clock, but are usually up and about by three three or four in the morning, sometimes one or two.
May God shine his light on you and the many others in similar situations, after all we must make the most of it whilst we are still able.
Laughter really is as good as medication, and in that aspect please find something to laugh at every day, no matter how trivial it is, have a great couple of days we can all beat this, or at the very least, enjoy every single minute to the extent we are able.
