Has anyone out there used this drug and had any side effects and if so what were they. My husband is adamant about taking this, as a preventative, as recommended by Oncologist. Please advise. Thank you

I'm currently taking capecitabine I've only been on it for a few weeks, I have 2 weeks of tablets twice a day and then 1 week off, I've done that and am now on my 2nd cycle. My side effects have not been too bad up to now, the only thing that's evident atm is that it has quite an effect on my bowels.
