Has anyone got ovarian cancer.?
Hi penibear,
I'm not sure if you're aware but this is illegal in the UK. Our nurses commented recently on a similar post about this and this is what they said:
"At the moment it isn't known how helpful it might turn out to be in treating cancer and it isn't readily available as a cancer treatment. We have a blog post which sums up the research so far which you might find helpful to look at. You can read this here."
If you would like to talk about this with our cancer nurses do give them a call next week on their freephone number 0808 800 4040. They're available Monday - Friday between 9a.m -5p.m.
I hope this helps.

Hi Katie,
As things currently stand, cannabis is classified as a class B drug in the UK, meaning that it is illegal to possess or supply it. It is not for Cancer Research UK to comment on the legal status of cannabis, its use or abuse as a recreational drug, or its medical use in any other diseases. But we are supportive of properly conducted scientific research that could benefit cancer patients.
Kind Regards,
