waiting for results

I have now been waiting 3 weeks to find out what treatment id available to me feel like I'm stuck completely in limbo doc said he would ring me 2 weeks ago. I have made several calls to my doc to be given the run around so asked for another doc to give me a ring to be told he has said that he wants to ring me not another doctor. Confused atm

    I'm sorry about the wait and can understand why you may be feeling confused after what has happened. If you're in the UK I would suggest maybe giving our cancer nurses a call next week as they may be able to give some insight in to your situation. You can call them for free from a UK landline on 0808 800 4040 Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. Many of our members know what it is like waiting for results and I'm sure they will post soon to offer their advice and share their experiences with you.

    I hope you don't have to wait too much longer and when you do find out do come back and let us know the outcome.

    So fruastrating for you. RIng your GP, ask them to get onto the consulatant for an answer. Expalin it is causing you problems being in limbo. Your GP can and should be able to do this quickly and may speed up the process. Alternately ring PALS at the hospital - explain your problem and I found they act Very fast. Good luck x

    I just heard in going in for a biopsy on my spleen to check everything so finally heard off the doc at least
