I am sorry you are having to deal with cancer on your own but you have done the right thing by posting on here for there are loads of wonderful people who you can talk to and I hope some of them will respond to you soon. As Macmillans says, no one should have to deal with cancer on their own.

I also think you will find an inner strenght you didnt know you had for I do belive this happens when our backs are against a wall. I have had prostate cancer and have also lost ten members of my family over the years so I know how it makes you feel from both sides of the counter.

Hi Kated. you don t have to be alone on this site. There are lots of people in the same boat who you can chat to, ask for advice, have a rant with and sometimes share a giggle with. Welcome :)

I live alone sometimes and that is the worst time if you are alone..

try keeping yourself busy with a hobby....

I do cross stitching and it really helps

You say you had cancer, now ok?...

I dont think mine is curable, just been told it can be controlled

i ve had chemotherapy and seems to help

Hi Kated, your very brief post grabbed my attention, and then I noticed you joined the forum back in March, but didn't post until Nov. 2nd of this year. I am so sorry that you are alone at such a difficult time in your life. I'm not going to question why that is and will respect your privacy. I have been living with cancer now for 7 years and its' been a long and difficult 7 years for sure. I do have a partner and a few good friends in my life and that helps a lot. I can't imagine how lonely you must feel during this time. Please come back on to the forum and get some support from the lovely people on here. All of us are dealing with cancer in one way or another and certainly know what that feels like. Perhaps if you tell us a little more about yourself, we can get a better understanding for what is going on for you. That I will leave up to you. I do hope though, that you will keep coming back on here and get to know some of the other members here and read about their stories. I know its' not the same as having personal face to face contact, but it is the next best thing.

Yes I had prostate cancer but due to it being caught in time and having good treatment, I have made a good recovery. Thanks for asking. Hope the chemo h=keeps helping you, best wishes, Brian.
