I've been treated since May, had 8 weekly sessions of chemo, then had a bowel perforation on last day of treatment. Sadly they had to cancel my big operation, should have been last Thursday, they suspected a perforated duodenal ulcer. However I've had my Endoscopy & none found. They've planned to do my next lot of chemo now, & operate in the new year. I'm hoping they will reassess, as my ct scan showed reduction in all cancer & nodules. I'm worried the perforation might have been down to the chemo, or steroids they use? I would prefer my operation to go ahead. I'm on a break from treatment feel well no problems with energy or blood levels, but have to wait for the Team to discuss. Has anyone come across similar experience?
