Hi Suzanne
My husband has a sleep pattern like you. He is exhausted but only gets about 2 hours sleep and then he is awake again. Trying Kalms tonight, a herbal remedy, the pharmacist thinks it will be ok. He is really tired all day and doesn't want to do anything.
Best wishes
Chrissie
Same as You!!! Have had a 2am wake up for so long - through surgery, chemo and radio and still now. I get pain around that time and also hot sweats due to enforced menopause casued by surgery. I think it is an overactive mind too. My Dr prescribed very mild sleeping tablets so that when I woke up at 2am I would take two and yes I would then go back to sleep. It did work but I did not get another prescription and take stuff for the pain now and that does help. Do not get sttressed about waking up at 2am and if you can get a quick nap in the day as you need sleep but I would speak to your GP about short term non addictive help. Good luck
