Breast Cancer? im so worried . feel sick to my stomach.

right i didnt know where else to go :( i feel sick to my stomach

my mum is currently termianly ill with cancer.

and im her carer

today i come home earlier than usual felt tired but felt like my breast felt strangely heavier and iv noticed it lately that my breast actually comes out my bra wont fit in propely where as the other feels fine.

iv had 4 kids so yes i have mummy boobs haha dont know how else to describe it.

i just hapened to feel my breast and it felt so much bigger and i felt near the top of it the top of it but abit to the right going towards the armpit but still on the breast it felt lumpy one area id explain it feeling kind of like a lumpyish mass. so i rubbed downwards and i could feel it it doesnt stick out greatly but enough to know soemthing is differant the thing as when i feel my other breast it just feels very soft and empty..... i had my daughter over 4 months ago now and i breast fed maybe nearly 2 weeks..... but i wasnt expressing enough so had to put my little beauty on formula she done alot better then thnakfully as she was losing weight with the breats milk with not getting the right amount.

and i thought ok maybe its breast milk from having my daughter milk ducts ect....

but why out the blue that one breast and would it feel like a mass? like a bunch of lumps like all i can xplain is it feels like a mass type feeling not just one lump on its own and its all in the one area.?

and when i tocuh the area its abit senseittve to i actually have acheing in my breats now as i speak mayb because its gone bigger?

but iw as going to go the doctors strangly the other day due to two swolen  lymph glands in my armpit.... now i thought maybe its due to me having a cold one was wquite biut but when down but its still thre maybe nearly 9 days later? both are one is bigger one is smaller..... now im putting 2 and 2 together here and getting myself worried that i could hav breats cancer,,,, im 24.... and i know it could be due to having my duaghter 4 months ago but this has never ever hapned before i just find this so odd also not sure if its relate but odd back pain today the same day that iv noticed this. may be due to my breast being heavier? i dont know im just guessing here i just dont know :( just need advice. :(

has this happeend to anyone else should i seek medical advice asap..... or see if it goes down if it may just be from having my daughter?

    Hi mandi 

    Sorry you are feeling so frightened at the moment.I can only imagine that you have been going through a great deal of stress looking after your poor mum and a new baby to boot.

    Is it any wonder you have gotten yourself so worked up?

    Firstly 4 months really isn't a great deal of time.It is a real possibility that the full feeling in your breast you describe is due to having your baby.I too remember having similar after having my daughter and it became very painful at one point.

    All I can advise you to do is to visit your Dr for an examination.

    Your a young lady so you have that on your side.Most problems are something simple and not the big C.

    I hope I've helped a little,sorry I can't offer any more advice.Really the only thing to do is to get it checked.

    thanks for the advice ur right thats the best avenue to go down. im going the doctors tomorrow. i took a picture and its very obvious my right breast is a great deal bigger than the other and the skin you can also tell looks differant to the other breast too . im not going to lie im very worried iv never had anything like this! x

    You have had alot to worry about haven't you and I'm sure you are feeling horrible right now.

    i went to the doctors , she took one look and said oh yeah i see. as my breast is noticebly bigger her first thing she said was how long has it been like this?. she also pointed out herself where the lumpiness is that i felt it feels like a mass of lumps you know that feeling when you are breast feeding but in just one part of my breast. she also she didnt agree that it was milk ducts i kept asking her she wouldnt say

    she said im not overly overly concerened but i want to see you again next week and see how it is i need to check you again.

     

    im not going to lie im worried i went to the doctors years ago now with discharge from one of my nipples likea yhear after having my daugher also there was blood coming from the nipple too when it was touched just abit. but they said thy would keep track of it.

    i went to a cancer hospital over a lump that come up after that hapened they done an ultrasound and said all was ok it was a lump of fat.

    and now this iv never felt anything like it!

    i akm worried i know i had my daughter nearly just 5 months ago but i know my body and this just feels really odd.

    it feels heavy and full aqnd the other one is soft and just feels empty.

    .... just gotta wait to see how it goes til next week now. x

    hi mandi I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get a completely positive outcome from the Dr. You must be feeling very upset.You are right we do know our bodies better than anyone.Which is why you did the right thing. I know it's going to be a long wait until you see the Dr again.I hope that it resolves itself in the event that it doesn't I'm sure your Dr will refer you on at which point you will get a definate answer. I know it's not the outcome you would of wanted. I'm sure you already know your doing the right thing. we are all still here on this forum to chat offer advice or listen to you whenever you want. thinking of you Ness x
