Hi, just had a lumpectomy waiting for radiotherapy. Both my mother and sister and grandmothers have had breast cancer so new my chances were high. My results are good but feeling very emotional and scared, plus being made to feel guilty because my cancer is treatable

    Hi, I am a 38 year old female. I had my first ever mammogram last week and the radiologist found a cluster of microcalcifications. My GP has organized an urgent biopsy next week. It's all I think about. Im so stressed and anxious. I'm terrified about the procedure and the results

    I am at the same stage as you just waiting for radiotherapy to be scheduled. I don't know how I should feel about having cancer that can be treated either. I have also lost close relatives which include my husband and brother but I don't think I feel guilty, more grateful that my breast cancer was detected at 0 stage at my second routine mammogram and sad that their wasn't. I do feel very low though, and again I don't know why, if I am going to be treated and will be ok why do I feel so sad?
