  • Dear Abdullah

Thank you for your enquiry. I was sorry to read about your cousin’s situation. This must be a difficult time for you all.

We are often asked about coming to the UK for treatment. Cancer Research UK primarily funds research and clinical trials.  We do not fund treatment or provide hospital services.  I’m sorry as I realise this will be disappointing to read.

To qualify for free NHS treatment people usually need to be entitled to live in the UK and be able to prove that they are already living here permanently or plan to. This is explained on the NHS choices website at this link . There is information about this on our website here and  Macmillan Cancer Support also has information on their website which you can read here.

I am sorry that we cannot help you more directly.

    Kind Regards,

    Celene
