  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Karen although I'm sorry to hear that the cancer has spread to your bones and you've had tumours on your spine and hip.

It's great that you're trying to be positive despite the tough time you've had lately but I can understand why those thoughts may be popping in to your head. Sometimes our mind can be our own worst enemy, especially in situations like these, but if you can try and stay in the present instead of thinking about the future. Have you spoken to your medical team about how you are feeling? It may help to speak to someone so you can get those thoughts out of your mind like you have done here. I have found some information on our website which may help at this time.

Many members on the forum have also had to deal with cancer spreading to other parts of their body and will understand how you are feeling right now and I'm sure they will post soon to offer their support and share their experiences.

Wishing you all the best with your recovery from your recent operations,
