Feeling very tearful chemo not worked properly

Hi all, had 6 cycles of E C last year then 7 months letrozole this Jan stopped working new lumps in breast. Started Taxoteire this Jan 6 cycles first three responded then last 3 not worked, started on anastrozole after chemo then latest scan gave me these results MORE PROMINENT  I'm gutted, I'm feeling ghetto treatment not working for me, the idea was to keep under control but at the moment thus is not to be.  I'm being told if anastrozole does not work next plan will ve chemo tablet, was wondering anybody in the similar position? ?? I'm so upset and feeling very low

    you really being tested! Sorry to hear and even more sorry I can't add any helpful advice to your situation, I wish I could say something that would make you smile, but sending happy vibes in the hopes it might reach you.  This disease is definitely NOT for the feint-hearted!  I am in awe of how you have managed to go through all this, what a fighter you are.

    Sorry to hear you've been through a nightmare - I would feel the same as you in that position.

    Is the chemo tablet Capecitibane?  If so, I want to give you some hope.  Letrozole didn't work for me and put me into my secondary breast cancer diagnosis.  My six cycles of FECT stopped working within months and I have been put on Capecitibane.  It is very doable but you may find that your hands and feet get red and sore so you need to moisturise them.  You also get Diarrhoea sometimes which isn't pleasant but you don't have to go to hospitals for infusions just check ups and scan and you don't lose your hair!  I have heard about people being on it for years!  It is certainly working for me and my lungs have cleared of cancer and it is doing great work on my liver lesions.  Don't give up hope - it might work for you too!

    Thanks for your reply, that pleases me to hear we in similar situation, I was so down last week and really scared nothing is going to work it's trial and error I no, I pray when I go on it it works, how long have you or did u go on it 4 ??
