A very happy birthday Hazel! We love reading your posts on this forum and you greatly contribute to the nice atmosphere here.
Have you planned anything special to celebrate?
Lucie
Thank you Lucie, and thanks so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to me.
I haven't anything planned, probably raise a glass of something this evening while on the phone to my brother in law. I'm just pleased I made it, that's enough celebration for me!

Let's all raise a glass of something or a nice cuppa to Hazel this evening!
So I am off to make a nice peppermint infusion which I will raise for you Hazel! Who's joining me? ;)
Lucie
Ah, thanks Lucie, hope you enjoy! You are working late, or are you home now?
Take care, thanks to all you lovely helpful Mods.

Was a glass of rose from me to you Hazel. Jules xx
Bless you Jules, hope you enjoyed. What did you have with it though? Slice of one of your lovely cakes?
Hazel xx
Hi Hazel,
No cake left in the house as I craftily took it over to my son's fiancee when visiting on Monday. At the time I did not know she had re-joined Slimming Club to help her lose that 'pregnancy weight' safely and gradually (plus give her an evening out!!).
So what did I have with my glass of wine; nothing very exciting - jacket potato topped with cream cheese and garlic. Jules xx
Ooh, sounds nice, doesn't have to be exciting to be tasty!
I bet your son and your daughter's boys did your cake justice, even if new mum didn't, and I'm sure she appreciated the gesture!
Take care, Hazel xx
