Thank you Lucie, and thanks so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to me.  

I haven't anything planned, probably raise a glass of something this evening while on the phone to my brother in law.  I'm just pleased I made it, that's enough  celebration for me!

Hi Hazel,

No cake left in the house as I craftily took it over to my son's fiancee when visiting on Monday. At the time I did not know she had re-joined Slimming Club to help her lose that 'pregnancy weight' safely and gradually (plus give her an evening out!!).

So what did I have with my glass of wine; nothing very exciting - jacket potato topped with cream cheese and garlic.  Jules xx

Ooh, sounds nice, doesn't have to be exciting to be tasty!  

I bet your son and your daughter's boys did your cake justice, even if new mum didn't, and I'm sure she appreciated the gesture!
