  • Hi Sprint

I came across this thread about cancer of the Peritoneum, although it's from December, as I thought you may find it useful. If you leave a reply, hopefully Cem will then respond although by replying to this I have bumped your post up so hopefully some other members will be along shortly to share their experience.

If you would like to talk with one of our nurses, please do give them a call on 0808 800 40 40 (it's free to call from the UK). They are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm or you could post a question in the Ask the nurses topic area.

    Best wishes,

    Kirsty

  • I also have spots on my peritoneum as well as secondary in Liver. I'm hopeful for surgery and have asked to be referred to a specialist liver team for further assessment. The impression I was getting from my oncologist that peritoneum is difficult to treat and from what I've read, I can see that too. There is a procedure called HIPEC but I think the patients suitable are carefully selected. Best of luck. This is a hellish disease
