Radiation pain

I have had nine out of fifteen radiotherapy treatments. Everything was going fine. This morning I woke up with what I can only describe as muscular pain across my shoulders, neck and upper chest. I mentioned it to the radiographer she didn't seem concerned. Has anyone had such pains during their treatment?  Many thanks. Audrey.

    Hi everyone. The pains got worse yesterday and I started with difficult breathing every breath hurt. I went to hospital as I was concerned. They were very thorough I had ECG chest X-ray and bloods taken. Apparently the radiotherapy can damage the pleura in your lungs. I am now on strong painkillers. I hope they can continue radiotherapy as I have six to go I will find out on Monday x
