Nivolumab

Anyone have any experience with this drug please?  or know if its availability is currently compromised, due to licensing issues?

  • Hi LesleyW

Welcome to the forum. We have some information on Nivolumab on our website, which you might find useful.

You can also call our nurses for more information on (freephone) 0808 800 40 40. They are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    Best wishes,

    Kirsty

  • Thanks for the info.  Speaking to our oncologist last week, he was uncertain whether it was currently readily available, as there tends to be a gap of non-availability during the licensing period, then when it clears the licensing, it may not be freely available due to costs.  Our oncologist has applied for my husband to receive this as part of an ongoing trial, but hes not sure if hes left it too late to apply!   (Hubby currently on Inlyta, but finding it difficult to cope with the SE's) ......I just wondered whether you had any news on whether it will be freely available to whoever needs it?
