Four years ago I never imagined that I would be writing this! 

My 21 year old daughter was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer which had spread to her spine. Here we are four years down the line and she is showing no evidence of disease. She had chemotherapy, herceptin, radiotherapy and surgery within the first year and continues to have herceptin every three weeks which will be reviewed in May 2017. She is simply an amazing young women! But it is only down to her strength and the drugs available to her that she is still here living her life, looking forward to celebrating her 26th birthday in July. Cancer is not necessarily a death sentence any more, in lots of cases it can be treated!
