In Five years ago I had surgery and chemo for lung cancer in my right lung and in May of this year my "5 years being cancer free" and I was loonking forward to reaching that milestone - A few weeks ago I was told I have a new tumour in my other lung which is inoperable as my disected lung wouldn't cope if the other one were to collapse during any surgical intervention - this removes chemo as an option this time - I am to start 33 days of radical radiotherapy very soon, but I am struggling this time to stay ahead of the game and positive and almost afraid to ask questions, when normally i would want to know everything, life is tough at the minute, but i really don't enjoy fuss or platitudes...... I have lots of funny stories from my first encounter with Cancer, buthis time it doesn't feel that way......
