My son was diagnoised with stage 4 throat cancer last November.  He has been thru chemo & radiation treatments very intense.  This month he has found out that there are still some cell cancers in his throat.  Now he has to go thru a very evasive surgery because the doctors can't see the cancer with a camera.  What can I expect from this type of surgery.  I know they will cut his bottom lip in the middle all the way down his throat & will have to cut his face & lay it back so they can find it.  This will be a 10 hr surgery, then in ICU for 2 days.  How does a mama bear this pain for her son.  His sugery is scheduled for February 9th.  We are trying to keep him encouraged when we are with him but this is the one thing he did not want to happen to him.  I don't know if you are praying people, if you are please pray for him.
