Hi Elaine .... Couldnt help but notice that you have not had a reply so wanted to suggest that you give the nurses here on the forum a call tomorrow during office hours.  Their number is shown at the bottom of this page.  Even better, it may be a good idea to ring your oncologist's secretary,the chemo team or the pharmacist to ask your query. 

I did also just want to say that I have been on chemo around 3-1/2yrs now and you have to get a good balance between treatment and living a normal life.  My friends/family always let me know if they have a viral iinfection so that I stay away - but other than that I live life as anyone else would. 

You cannot hide yourself away.  Be aware of keeping your hands clean and not sitting near someone who is obviously sneezing/coughing but also use common sense to enjoy life.  Enjoy Christmas with your family! All the best x
