 I posted a while back about my mum being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.

She was under the Europak Study due to having had parents and a sibling who sadly passed away to this. 

Mum was screened regularly and it was picked up so early. She had an operation on Monday last week to remove half her Pancreas and all of her Spleen.

The op was sucessful they managed to remove the cancer and they say it hasn't spread and next stage is to recover from this op then she will have 6 months Chemotherapy as they not willing to risk anything. 

I'm so proud of my mum and extremely grateful for all the work our health care professionals have done too. 

There definitely needs to be more money injected into the research for Cancer and finding a cure for this too x
