I don't have any trouble swallowing,just with lack of taste I have had some success with a salty kedgeree and Aldi Italian ice cream with a chocolate flake sprinkled on top tonight mmm
thanks for your reply Kim. My husband is having an operation on his femur tomorrow. He will have a long nail from his hip to his knee bone put through the bone. I really don't sleep anymore. Thank you for the advice on dental care. Best wishes.
as Kim has already explained, you should be on a 5 year medical exemption for all prescriptions. Cohapsol really helped me after radiation with my ulcers, but it took a good two months before I could eat without pain.
the taste issue I found to be the worst. I could deal with everything else, but eating is such a social thing and when you don't like the taste of food and can't really eat it, you feel an outcast.
i can eat almost everything now, a year on from finishing treatment, apart the sugary stuff.although my taste is back it's a a bit all over the place on some tastes, but if this is all I have then I am happy.
