Hi i am a 49 yr old woman who has metatistic breast cancer in jan i was told NO CURE chemo and hormone tablets to keep under control, every scan has lolooked very good continued response every time which is good, last scan was aug but just saw results thursday, still cont response, i asked what stage i was and she told me stage 4 which scares the hell out of me but she says this as it had spread, im worried as she now has put me on 6 month scan instead of every 3 in a positive way i think she must be happy for me to do this, im feeling scared again which i always do around scan and results day, i start to worry how long b4 it starts growing again, i asked that question and she says well it has not gone so she couldnt answer, im now yaking letrozole and she says eventually that will stop working which again upsets me, but she did say there is many many more drugs, just feeling a bit down .
