GBM 4

Hi . I was diagnosed with a brain tumour Gbm4 in nov 2013.   I have been lucky so far and experienced realitevly minimal side effects Except from really painfull left sided nerve pain from my shoulder to my toes . It's with me 24 hrs and mentally tiring as is it emotional . I read a lot on how pain works on how to control yourself mentally which without doubt helps .  I just was curious if anyone out there also experiences nerve pain ?

Thanks

Hi Allan ...... I was diagnosed with a secondary brain tumour this year but had targeted radiotherapy which has really helped with the symptoms.  Is in not possible to have surgery or radiotherapy in your case?

Nerve pain must be totally draining and I would be really interested to hear about how to control pain mentally if you ever get the chance to tell me. My symptoms were more confusion, eye problems, clumsiness and mostly have been eliminated since my procedure thank goodness.

I can imagine how tiring this must all be for you, how are you coping generally - I hope you have support around you.

Keep in touch and I hope you find others suffering with the same side-effects who can give you some support x
