currently just completed cycle 3 of cistaplatin and vinerabaline with day 8 top ups doing ok ,but does anyone else experience muscular tightness over wound area (had a right upper lobectomy for lung cancer in March)and also getting increased numb feet .The last dose of cistaplatin was reduced but the problem increases with each top up .Has anyone else had this treatment post a year and the numbness disappeared and wound tightness eased ,at this point I am unsure what is post op recovery and what chemo effects will diminish.I am due just one more cycle i am starting to think i shouldn't have it but also like the rest of us I don't want the cancer to come back ,I can live with a bit of numbness but not if cured if there is such a thing with lung cancer,My future health could be limiting I am quite an active person .Does this numbness lead to other mobility issues if it doesn't resolve any in put gratefully received obviously I will chat with my oncologist on Tuesday about it .but just wandered if anyone else has had these problems with chemo .
