Pain relief post lumpectomy

Hi, I just wanted to share my experiences of successful pain relief product following my recent lumpectomy on June 4th 2015 in the hope that someone else might be helped. I have been fairly obsessive about caring for my new 'baby boob' (as my partner and I refer to it) following surgery. Named because now the swelling has gone down I am left with a very good cosmetic result albeit smaller slightly in size. I had a lump removed from the area beneath my nipple and this together with the nipple relocalisation has resulted in a good looking baby boob! On to pain- I had intermittent stabbing pain for the first couple of weeks, including if I reached out for anything- lifting up toilet lid etc but this was gone by week 4. I have and continue to have fairly sensitive skin to touch, pain if I hit potholes or go over speed bumps and sensitivity around the nipple scars. In week 3 I discovered the benefit of cold cabbage leaves wrapped around my breast -it really did help! And then discovered a product called Ouch made by a company in Kent called Blended Therapies. It has been a life saver, I can't praise it enough. On Monday I have a further surgery to remove my Sentinal nodes as it turned out that my DCIS is in fact invasive so hoping that Ouch will continue the good work once my wound has healed.
